MSTIs collaborative approach to cancer care allows a diversity of job duties including collaborative prescribing, patient counseling, patient education, staff education, supervision of preparation and dispensing, and precepting students and residents. Clinical trials, pediatric oncology, and an autologous stem cell program also utilize the pharmacist as a team member.St. Luke´s is a healthcare system operating several hospitals in southern Idaho. Mountain States Tumor Institute (MSTI), a subsidiary of St. Luke´s, operates 5 outpatient clinics and an inpatient unit each of which have a satellite pharmacy staffed with one or more oncology pharmacists and technician support staff. MSTI sees approximately 3,000 new patients per year and has more than 800 patients on active treatment.St. Luke´s Mountain States Tumor Institute has an immediate opening for a part-time Oncology Pharmacist (approximately 24 hours/week).
