Assures appropriated and optimum use of the organizations resources and enhances the effectiveness of pharmacy operations. This position is directly responsible for compounding and dispensing medications in accordance with the Pharmacy and Therapeutic (P&T) Committee and applying the principles of pharmaceutical care tooptimize therapeutic outcomes and provide cost-effective pharmacotherapy. Manage Drug distribution by performing the function of acquisition, preparation and distribution of drugs to ensure safety, accuracy, and quality of supplied products.Responsible for the security and accountability of all controlled substances. Ensures the pharmacy complies with relevant DOC Health Services Policy, state and Federal regulations.Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:A valid Washington State license to practice pharmacy or eligibility to obtainlicense prior to employment. Permanent appointment will be contingent uponobtaining a valid Washington State license to practice pharmacy within 90 days following appointment.Note: Pre-screening process may include drug testing.
