Endocrinologist - Virginia Mason Medical CenterDowntown Seattle Main Campus and Satellite Clinic

Virginia Mason Medical Center, located in Seattle, Washington, is seeking a full-time BE/BC Endocrinologist to join our team of 2 Endocrinologists, 3 CDEs including pharmacist, and support staff. Position is full time with minimal call being every 3rd week. Virginia Mason Medical Center is an award-winning, private, not-for-profit organization offering a network of primary and specialty care clinics throughout the Puget Sound region and a hospital in Seattle. Virginia Mason has its own graduate medical program and our section is active in resident teaching. There are also teaching opportunities at the University of Washington. We have a strong thyroid disease program with outstanding surgical support in the same building. The consultative practice has patients with variety of interesting of Endocrine disorders and it is considered a regional referral center. The section also maintains a very active ADA-recognized diabetes education program, an insulin pump program, and a Diabetes Clinical Research Unit which is the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundations center for translational research. The ideal candidate for this position would be an Endocrinologist with a the genuine desire to improve the healthcare experience for every patient, every time. We prefer experience w/ electronic medical records and the ability to work within an environment of continual but logical change. This Endocrinology opportunity is a start up opportunity that is subsidized by the community hospital. The hospital is looking for an Endocrinologist that is interested in developing a general practice with an interest in diabetes and thyroid cancer. There will be call coverage with the other Endocrinologists in the community. The referrals from the medical staff of over 300 physicians and specialists have generated more than the current Endocrinologists can handle. There is a full range of medical services available at the hospital including a level IV trauma center. This community is a diverse cultural suburb of Seattle, the second most populated community in there county. Location: Fridley, MN (20 miles north of Minneapolis)Columbia Park Fridley Plaza Clinic is seeking a BE/EC Endocrinology physician to join an 80+ physician multi-specialty practice. Providers have the opportunity to be part of an outpatient practice with a Hospitalist Service that will take care of Hospital based patients. This group is very procedural oriented and encourages providers to utilize their skills and special interests. The opportunity to do procedures is available. The Endocrinologist need is based on growth and community need and the primary care physicians in the local practice group would provide a built-in referral base. The Columbia Park Medical Group Fridley Plaza Clinic is one of five practices of Columbia Park Medical Group dedicated to providing comprehensive, high quality medical care to the entire family through all stages of life. Two internal medicine practitioners work collaboratively with 29 onsite colleagues in these specialties: family medicine, pediatrics, ob/gyn, general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, allergy and immunology, opthomology, and radiology. Many other subspecialists are available through extensive outreach programs. Onsite services include rehabilitation services and diagnostic services including lab, X-ray, optical dispensary and pharmacy. Practitioners work a 4- or 5-day workweek with an expectation of 36 patient contact hours per week. Clinic hours are 7:30am to 6pm. We use a primary nursing model where practitioners work primarily with the same CMA/LPN. Physicians admit patients to the Columbia Park Medical Group Hospitalist service at Unity Hospital.
