We represent an excellent opportunity for two BC/BE pediatric emergency (fellowship trained or SIGNIFICANT pediatric emergency experience) physicians to join a group of 5 and Sunrise Children´s Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. Sunrise Children´s Hospital is the premiere provider of children´s services in southern Nevada and is Nevada´s ONLY dedicated children´s facility. The pediatric emergency room is a free standing center consisting of 26 beds including a 24 hour/day pediatric ICU. All pediatric subspecialties are represented on staff including the only forensic child abuse expert in Nevada. The ER experiences 33,000+ visit/year including multi-specialty and trauma. Physicians work l2-l5, l2 hour shifts from 7-7 or evening shifts from l2P--8AM per month. The group offers a competitive compensation and benefits package; relocation expenses will be paid by the hospital. Of special note is that the group will consider physicians who do not wish to relocate, but are willing to work a minimum of 7 shifts per month with hourly salary and malpractice being paid (must pay own living/travel expenses).

Summerlin Hospital Medical Center is a 274-bed facility with a 23-bed Emergency Department. The ED sees approximately 34,000 patients per year, 12,000 of which are Pediatric Patients (ages 0-17). The Pediatric ER is open 24/7 with Pediatric Intensivists on site who are providing hospitalist coverage. It is staffed by Board Certified Pediatric ER physicians 10-18 hours per day (9 & 10 hr shifts). There are 5 beds designated for Pediatric ER visits. Summerlin has the only PICU of its kind in Vegas. Pediatric intensive care specialists monitor patients throughout their stay while providing advanced services typically unavailable on a general pediatric floor. This established group is looking for a Full Time or Part Time Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician. The ideal candidate is a physician double boarded in Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine. However, we also welcome physicians that are board certified in Pediatrics with extensive Emergency Medicine experience. This is a newly remodeled Pediatric ED.
