LCSW, LMFT, PhD, or PsyDin Psychology, or license-eligible.Qualifications: Supervised training, experience, and excellent skills working with children, adolescents, and their families, both with psychiatric and chemical dependency issues. Skills at doing a mental status exam, solid knowledge of DSM IV criteria. Must be able to respond well to a rapid yet fluctuating work pace, have strong organizational skills, and be able to work well within a multidisciplinary teams. Must relate well to medical center personnel and clerical staff. Excellent communication skills both written and oral. A patient service orientation is required. Experience in working with ASD, ADHD are pluses. Experience with brief psychotherapy and group therapy very desirable. DBT and CBT skills helpful. Familiarity with psychopharmacological interventions is helpful. Cultural diversity, Spanish speaking are pluses. Booking patient appointments; working with computer databases. Crisis management and intervention; arranging hospitalizations as needed. Treatment, including developing treatment plans, and providing case management, individual, group and family therapy. Working with multidisciplinary teams, often coordinating care with other professional providers.
