Rare opportunity exists for a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join three full-time (and one part-time) Radiation Oncologists who are looking to replace a partner who will be relocating out of state. This stellar Department of Radiation Oncology, part of an active medical staff of over 1,000 physicians at a modern 478-bed teaching hospital, offers cutting-edge technology that includes CyberKnife Radiosurgery IMRT, IGRT, HDR and LDR. The CyberKnife program was one of the first in the country and is one of two national training centers! Teaching and Research opportunities are available, with participation in multiple national collaborative research study groups and local research protocols. Equipment and facility upgrades are under way and will be fully electronic by the completion of these upgrades. Most specialists on staff have faculty appointments at Johns Hopkins Medical School! The Department of Radiation Oncology includes two modern offices: a hospital-based department at the 478-bed teaching hospital along with a suburban satellite clinic with sarcoma & bone, GI, GYN, breast, vascular and thoracic multi-disciplinary conferences/clinics and a strong cancer institute. Also being developed are multi-disciplinary clinics and conferences in neuro-oncology and pediatrics.
