Virginia Mason Medical Center, located in Seattle, Washington, is seeking a full-time BE/BC Endocrinologist to lead our team of 2 Endocrinologists, 3 CDEs including pharmacist, and support staff. We encourage skilled and experienced endocrinologists with leadership skills and interest to explore our successful, collegial practice. Virginia Mason Medical Center is an award-winning, private, not-for-profit organization offering a network of primary and specialty care clinics throughout the Puget Sound region and a hospital in Seattle. Virginia Mason has its own graduate medical program and our section is active in resident teaching. There are also teaching opportunities at the University of Washington. We have a strong thyroid disease program with outstanding surgical support in the same building. The consultative practice has patients with variety of interesting of Endocrine disorders and it is considered a regional referral center. The section also maintains a very active ADA-recognized diabetes education program, an insulin pump program, and a Diabetes Clinical Research Unit which is the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundations center for translational research. The ideal candidate for this position would be an Endocrinologist who has been in practice for 5 or more years with experience in a predominately clinical practice. Leadership experience and interest required. You must have the genuine desire to improve the healthcare experience for every patient, every time.
