Located in Grass Valley, CA, this is an excellent opportunity to practice medicine in a cutting-edge medical community and the natural beauty of the Sierra Foothills.This is an opportunity to develop a cardiology practice with a growing multi-specialty clinic. Full spectrum non-invasive capabilities include CT angiography, stress testing EKG and TEE. Telephone call will be 1:4. In addition, there is a 24-hour advice nurse who helps respond to patient questions. Imaging and nuclear medicine services are performed at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital, a CHW hospital facility, whose Cardiac Stress Echo and Adult and Pediatric Transthoracic Echo Lab’s are nationally accredited. In addition, hospitalists are available 24/7.As a service of CHWMF, Sierra Nevada Medical Group is affiliated with Catholic Healthcare West, one of the leading healthcare systems in the country. Responsibilities of the selected candidates will include; interpretation of diagnostic studies, patient consultation, and the direct supervision of technologists. The ideal candidates will be board certified/eligible and have experience with echocardiography, vascular doppler, ambulatory arrhythmia monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, autonomic challenge (tilt table test), pacemaker analysis, EKG, and stress testing.
