McFarland Clinic, located in Ames, is central Iowa's largest physician-owned multi-specialty clinic. A successful integrated medical center, the McFarland Clinic has grown to 157 physicians spanning 37 medical and surgical specialties. The clinic is 100% owned by physicians and is governed by physicians who are involved in every aspect of decision making, both clinical and non-clinical. We serve a patient population base of 250,000 residents via a 14-community network throughout central and north central Iowa. We like to say small town and "big medicine".
