Dartmouth-Hitchcock Manchester - Catholic Medical Center - 12 hour shifts - 5 day blocks
You will share coverage with other hospitalists 24/7 - 365 days a year working 12 hour shifts either 7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, New Hampshire. This includes admitting and discharging patients, rounding on patients, and consultations. Currently there are 4 day hospitalists, 1 night hospitalist and 1 swing shift from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. You will work 150 - 180 shifts per year averaging 12 to 15 shifts per month. Scheduling is typically in 5 day stretches. This will be dependent upon your desired work schedule. Your approximate volume is up to 15 admissions/consults per day with an average of inpatient census of 8-15 patients. You must be comfortable with ICU patient monitoring. Intensivists provide ICU consult. Salary includes a base salary for 150 or 180 shifts per year and both productivity and quality bonuses.
