Carle Clinic Association, a 315-physician multispecialty group practice, has a position available for a BE/BC Internal Medicine physician in our branch clinic in Danville, Illinois. Carle Clinic is the one of the largest outpatient treatment centers in Illinois and has a service area of approximately 1.5 million residents. Details regarding this position include: Join a department of three Internal Medicine physicians Incoming physician will be located at Carle Clinics new primary care center Call will be 1:4 weekdays and every fourth weekend Staff in the department includes 5 RNs, 1 LPN, 6 Medical Office Assistants, 2 Nurse Practitioners, and 3 Physician Assistants Each physician sees an average of 20 - 25 patients per day This is primarily an outpatient-based position Admitting privileges are granted at United Samaritans Medical Center (located in Danville approximately 2 miles from the new clinic). This is a 300-bed hospital (not a teaching hospital) that does not currently employ Hospitalists. The center houses 15 physicians and 16 mid-level providers. The primary care center has its own lab services, imaging department (digital mammography, ultrasound, a 64-slice CT, and a nuclear camera), and pharmacy.
