As part of the dynamic clinical leadership team at Planned Parenthood of New York City (PPNYC), the Associate Medical Director of Reproductive Health Services assists the Chief Medical Officer in the oversight of clinical services, quality of care, and regulatory compliance at our health centers. Provides direct patient care, including contraceptive management and first and second trimester abortions; clinical supervision for staff; and training for clinical staff, students, residents and fellows. Participates in the PP4NY project, a collaboration of Planned Parenthood affiliates designed to enhance the availability, quality and cost-effectiveness of reproductive health care services in the downstate New York area. The Cardiology Medical Director is responsible for management of clinical resources through utilization management. (S)he reports clinically to the Chief Medical Officer.
