Our brand new regional hospital opened in January and offers state of the art technology and systems to support you and the care you deliver. Applications are invited for the above post at the Wellington Blood & Cancer Centre. The service has a catchment population of 500 000. The departmental staff at present comprises five Medical Oncologists, six Radiation Oncologists, and five Haematologists. The successful candidate is expected to have or develop an area of subspecialty expertise. The Cancer Centre has an active research programme and works in collaboration with local New Zealand Universities, and the Malaghan Institute.Applicants are expected to be eligible for FRACP or equivalent. Overseas applicants must be eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand ( www.mcnz.org.nz ).
