Available to you will be a system wide referral base of 31 OB/GYN physicians of whom 26 perform obstetrics, approximately 4000 deliveries system wide of which 20% are high risk, a freestanding OB/GYN residency program with a total of 12 residents, and a top-notch department of OB/Gyn including full-time divisions of MFM, Reproductive Endocrinology, Gynecology Oncology and Urogynecology. This position is located just outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Crozer Keystone Health System, part of the Crozer-Keystone Health System, is seeking a board certified perinatologist to serve as the Chief, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. In this busy, hospital-based, consultative practice you will not be required to do deliveries or participate in OB call. MFM consult call will be shared between two Perinatologists. The Maternal-Fetal Medicine service covers Delaware County Memorial Hospital (DCMH) and Crozer Chester Medical Center (CCMC). DCMH, one of the founding hospitals of the Crozer-Keystone Health System, is a 247-bed not-for-profit community hospital that offers a broad range of acute and specialized services and delivers more than 1,800 babies each year. CCMC is a 388-bed not-for-profit teaching hospital and one of the founding hospitals of the Crozer-Keystone Health System. Today, the medical center admits nearly 20,000 patients, treats approximately 50,000 Emergency Department patients, and delivers about 2,000 babies a year. From its beginning in 1990, Crozer-Keystone Health System, located minutes from Philadelphia, has been the dominant provider of health care in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, northern Delaware, and part of western New Jersey.
