Geisinger Health System is seeking a Director of Clinical Medical Imaging Physics. Join a large Radiology Department consisting of approximately 50 radiologists representing all sub-specialties of Radiology, along with the presence of a Radiology Residency Program and a MRI Fellowship Program.The Director is required to have a PhD with ABR certification and several years of relevant experience in Medical Physics. The Director will report to the Chairman of Radiology, and will supervise the work of other Clinical Medical Physicists. The focus of this position will be on image quality optimization, dose reduction, and physics education for Residents. It will also require expertise in equipment selection and negotiation, along with oversight of acceptance testing performed by Medical Health Physicists. This position will also oversee the physics aspect of accreditation programs.
