White River Junction VA Medical Center delivers quality health care to eligible veterans in Vermont and neighboring counties in New Hampshire from its main campus at White River Junction, VT and four Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in Bennington, Colchester and Rutland VT, and Littleton, NH. The facility also supports the Department of Defense (DOD) through comprehensive sharing agreements and ongoing federal emergency preparedness planning. Our delivery process consists of eleven Service Lines.You´ll have the opportunity to enjoy academic endeavors with Dartmouth Medical School teaching and participating in Phase II and III clinical trials while caring for our veterans. You will perform bone marrow biopsies, and care for both inpatients and outpatients. Your workload will include approximately 2-4 chemo patients, 2-6 outpatients, 2-6 inpatients, and 2 new consults per day. You should be BE or BC and hold an unrestricted US license (does not need to be a Vermont license). Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM, all federal holidays off and, you´ll have no call. You may attend various staff meetings and have the opportunity to serve on committees and participate in physician leadership development programs. The Veterans Healthcare Administration uses fully integrated Electronic Medical Records which means you´ll have complete patient history, lab tests, and radiographs at your fingertips, no matter where the patient has been cared for within the VA system. OBGYN - NORTHERN VTLocated in northern VT about 3 hours from Boston and 2 hours from Montreal, an ObGyn is sought to join an employed group of seven at this community hospital that delivers 250+ newborns each year. Call for MDs is 1:3 and includes back up for two midwives in the group who see their own patients. The group is also supported by two Nurse Practitioners. In-house services include 24-hour Emergency and Radiology services, Anesthesiologists and CRNAs, Physician Assistants, Surgical Technicians and Pediatricians. The Group has offices and a Women´s Wellness Center located inside the Hospital. Tertiary care is located 60 minutes from the Hospital, where Perinatal consultations are available and where births earlier than 34 weeks are referred, and the Hospital is a member of the Dartmouth Hitchcock Alliance. Competitive compensation and benefits package are offered including malpractice and tail coverage if needed, and an incentive program is in development as well.
