Virginia Mason Medical Center seeks an Orthopedic Section Head to lead their Orthopedic service line.
We are seeking an Orthopedic surgeon who will take on the following responsibilities and requirements:- Orthopedic service line including: general orthopedics, sports medicine, hand and podiatry at all locations within the VM healthcare system- 30-40% of time devoted to administrative section head responsibilities - Responsible with the administrative director for the vision, strategic planning, alignment and implementation of this service line to compliment the strategic mission of the medical center- Fiscal, Communication, Management and Leadership skills a must.- Leadership and academic skills and experience within state, regional and national orthopedic organizations desirable.- Commitment to team delivery of patient-centered medical care- Has or will be committed to the Virginia Mason Production SystemVirginia Mason Medical Center is a 360+ physician multi-specialty group practice with a 336-bed hospital, research center and five residency training programs located in Seattle, Washington.
