As a Consulting Physician, you will work closely with physicians who have been referred to our Intervention Services program due to behavioral or performance concerns raised by supervisors, colleagues or patients. Working as part of this multi-disciplinary team, you will assist in the assessment of physician clients for a variety of behavioral, work and personal issues that might be impacting their work performance and causing disruptive behavior, and make recommendations for changes, improvements or additional clinical or therapeutic help to enable them to meet their organizations requirements in an appropriate manner. You may also coach fellow physicians around personal and work-related stressors and offer a physicians perspective to the identified concerns. Working with a multi-disciplinary team involved in the intake, assessment and recommendation process, you will provide mentoring or supervision to other physicians.
