We are seeking a BE/BC Physiatrist to work at our Beacon Hill Clinic in downtown Seattle. Join our board certified Pain Medicine subspecialist, and Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner to provide integrative pain management for chronic pain patients. The Pain Medicine clinic features state-of-the-art equipment and innovative procedures. The successful candidate will have completed an accredited pain medicine fellowship and be competent to perform fluoroscopically-guided interventional procedures for chronic pain. Our complex and diverse patient population requires a compassionate, flexible and self-motivated individual with demonstrated clinical judgment and in-depth practice experience. Requirements include active Washington medical license, and DEA certification. We have an opening for a BC Physiatrist with strong working knowledge of chronic pain management and one who believes in a team approach to care. Our Program focuses primarily on the injured worker in a busy outpatient setting, partnering together Occupational Medicine and Physical Therapy. We are looking for a Physiatrist who wants to be part of a growing Program. Portland is home to an abundance of outdoor activities and the most beautiful scenery in the Pacific Northwest. A short drive will take you to wine country, the Oregon Coast, the Columbia River Gorge, and Mt. Hood. Salary 175,000+ (doe). Medical Director- Chronic Pain ProgramThe Medical Director will provide medical leadership to the clinical staff and medical services direction to the clients. Services primarily consist of the evaluation and treatment of clients with chronic pain and disability, chronic illness and disuse. The physician will work closely with the other members of the team in both the evaluation and treatment of clients by performing the following duties. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:Provide direct service delivery as a medical doctor, maintaining board certification; prepares composite reports from individual reports of clinical staff; Studies and standardizes procedures to improve effectiveness and efficiency of clinical staff; Participates in review and analysis of program evaluation system information, as well as participates in program goal establishment and adjustments; Participates in internal and external education opportunities, presenting to a variety of audiences in area of specialty; Provides direction through the professional services committee on matters impacting clinical service delivery; Participates in development of written policies and procedures for the interdisciplinary pain rehabilitation program and identify functions of the pain team physicians. Qualifications: licensed or in process for an Oregon license, B/C in PM&R and at least 2 years experience working with and/or directing an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team in management of chronic pain.
