An opportunity exists in the Department of Orthopaedics for a full time Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon with Medical Professional Associates of Arizona (dba “MedPro”). The Department of Orthopaedics staffs Maricopa Medical Center, a 450-bed community hospital with a state designated busy Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center in the metropolitan Phoenix area. The Department of Orthopaedics performs over 1000 operative orthopaedic trauma cases per year. The department is seeking an orthopaedic trauma surgeon who will provide 24 hour trauma coverage average of 6 – 8 shifts monthly. Physician practice will also include inpatient care/outpatient clinic and elective cases. Physician will supervise and work closely with an Ortho Trauma PA. Candidates must have an M. D. or D.O. degree, valid Arizona license, Board-certified or Board eligible, Ortho Trauma Fellowship trained or have previous level 1 trauma experience.MedPro offers an outstanding work environment, competitive compensation plan/benefits package and paid medical malpractice insurance.

There are approximately 125 physicians and associate providers at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene in New Hampshire. There are 26 primary care and specialty areas represented at the clinic in Keene. Keene is one of the community practice sites of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock system, a group practice of over 650 physicians. The group is seeking a fellowship trained orthopedic trauma surgeon to cover a growing number of trauma cases. A nearby NASCAR speedway and two motocross tracks have contributed to the increase in trauma cases. Practice with five orthopedic surgeons with subspecialty training. The group covers a stand-alone Level III hospital which functions for trauma as a Level II. This lifestyle practice offers a call schedule of 1:5.
