The Department of Gynecology & Obstetrics at Emory University is currently recruiting for two Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists. Both new graduates and experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply for this open rank faculty position. These positions are based primarily at Emory Crawford Long Hospital, a 511 bed institution that performs over 4000 deliveries per year with a Level III NICU. Responsibilities for this position will include teaching fellows, residents and medical students, providing clinical leadership to the Women’s Health Service Line at Emory Crawford Long Hospital and providing clinical care in the Emory Regional Perinatal Center. Clinical and scientific research opportunities are also available. All major subspecialties are represented in the Department including General Ob/Gyn, General Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Gynecologic Surgery and Gynecologic Oncology and Family Planning.This is an excellent opportunity for a recently trained physician who is seeking a position that combines both academic and clinical care. Compensation is commensurate with training, experience and abilities.

The team includes 8 certified nurse midwives and 8 OB/GYNs and 2 perinatologists. This position provides a combination of a hospital- and office-based practice. Every other week you will practice at a community based prenatal center Monday through Thursday, opposite weeks you will work in our private office setting, Monday through Friday. The hospital is a tertiary care facility with 744 beds. It is a part of one of the 10 largest public healthcare systems in the nation. The hospital has a full range of Women and Childrens Services, A Level III NICU, state of the art L&D rooms and a strong complement of pediatric subspecialties.
