Medical Director, Care Management for community teaching hospital in CT.

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Medical Director, Care Management will be responsible for Discharge Planning, Utilization Review and Quality Management.The position also assumes responsibility for the oversight and compliance of all federal and state regulations as it relates to UR. This is one of CTs largest community teaching hospitals located in a culturally diverse and stimulating, coastal university town surrounded by classic New England towns with easy access to New York, Hartford and Boston.

Must share in a commitment to excellence in emergency medicine. 23k volume ED with additional 2 urgent care centers. All EM Board Certified group. Upon joining the group, you are automatically on track towards becoming an owner.You will share equally in the profits and in responsibility. All contracts are stand-alone corporations. Open books to all physicians. Initial compensation 10-15% above the norm for immediate region plus comprehensive benefits. Upon profit-sharing, compensation is among the highest in the nation. This is one of the most scenic areas of NY state with a plethora of college towns, vineyards, lakefront-living and Adirondacks within shouting distance.
