This position is in an established clinic setting. Physician will work at the Health Center and oversee PA activity at another clinic. This need is created by the growth of primary care practice run by the hospital and a primary care physician relocating out of the area for family reasons. The health center is open five days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended evening hours on Tuesdays (until 5:30 p.m.). The practice sees approximately 700 patients each month.This hospital is the focal point for the delivery of health care services to approximately 39,000 people. The hospital offers a completely digital radiology department, mobile MRI, 24-hour emergency department, state of the art laboratory, chemotherapy unit, pharmacy, dialysis unit, PT department, and clinic space for visiting specialty physicians. Hospital underwent significant renovations project in 2008 brand new ER, laboratory, radiology department, and other administrative office spaces.Base salary - $200,000, on-call income - $22,813; inpatient income - $30,000. The physician must be a member of the hospital medical staff and participate in the rotation for Emergency Department call (one-in-four rotation). This schedule may be modified under emergency conditions such as death or illness of one of the other staff physicians, etc., in which case the Physician shall receive compensation at the rate of $250.00 per day exceeding the one-in-four normal rotation. For example, if the call schedule goes to a one-in-three rotation, the annual income for call would increase to $30,417. Physicians schedule themselves for coverage. The on-call income listed above is based on 91.25 days of coverage per year. It is mandatory that Physicians share call as equally as possible. The inpatient income listed above is based on a full year of admission by current Physician on staff - $100 per patient per day. It could be more or less depending on the Physician´s ER flow, patient mix in the ER, etc.Total compensation and benefits package: $302,603.00.
