Civilian Family Practice Physician @ Nellis AFB
American Hospital Service Group, Inc. was founded in 1992 and is a leading professional staffing organization that provides professional healthcare contract-staffing to U. S. Department of Defense facilities across the continental U.S., Hawaii, Alaska and Japan. We have an opening for a Family Practice Physician to at Nellis AFB. It´s a full-time contract position starting October 1, 2009- September 30, 2010, with the option to renew for 1 year terms up to 6 times. The contractor will be responsible for examining, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating the enlisted and their dependents. Physician should be comfortable handling patients of all ages. SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 8 or 10 hour shifts with some on-callREQUIREMENTS:~ Must be board certified in the specialty of family practice~ Must have completed an accredited family practice residency~ Must hold a valid and current MD or DO license in any of the 50 states, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico~Must have sufficient experience and expertise to precept midlevel providers~Must have been continuously employed in the practice of family medicine as a family practitioner for at least the past 2 years~ Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
