The Section of Pediatric Rheumatology at Riley Hospital for Children at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis is seeking a director for the section. The new division director will have the opportunity to recruit an additional young faculty member. The position is at the Associate to Full Professor of Pediatrics level on the tenure tract or on the clinical tract.The Section provides care for infants, children and adolescents with a variety of rheumatologic diseases. The Section has a very active outpatient practice with multiple clinics. The Section currently has 2.2 faculty physicians, 2 fellows, 2.4 FTE nurses, 2 FTE clerical positions, a research study coordinator and a 0.5 FTE physical therapist.Riley Hospital is ranked 11th as a Children´ Hospital (Child Magazine) and has highly academic residency programs in Pediatrics, Medicine-Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine-Pediatrics and Psychiatry-Pediatrics (total 150 residents).
