Hard working gastroenterologist need on Long Island
Busy, well established single-specialty GI practice with one location in a beautiful area of Long Island is looking for a hard working, personable team player to assist in the high volume of this practice. ERCP and capsule endoscopy are preferred. Located just an hours drive from New York City and a short ferry ride to New England, this position offers a geographic area with a diverse population, excellent schools and a great quality of life with numerous outdoor activities. The practice offers a great staff and in-office endoscopy including capsule endoscopy and is located just minutes from the two local hospitals. Salary is in the $200,000-$250,000 range and benefits include malpractice coverage, health insurance, CME allowance and vacation. Call schedule of 1:2/1:3 Sign on bonus may be possible and a short two year partnership track. The founding physician has an excellent reputation in the community with a large referral base. He is a team player and extremely affable and easy to work with. He is Chief of Gastroenterology at one of the local hospitals.
