Benefis Health System, the largest hospital in Montana is seeking an Non Invasive Cardiologist in Great Falls, Montana to assist in the expansion of a cardiology / cardiovascular surgery group serving the community of Great Falls and north central Montana (a population base of approximately 225,000). Must be certified in nuclear cardiology, CTs and geography. Two interventional cardiologists and two cardiovascular surgeons currently practice in an office building adjacent to the hospital. The group is part of larger specialty practice employed by the hospital. A new $85 million dollar patient tower is in the final stages of completion. The heart and vascular services will occupy the second and fourth floors of this new tower with capacity to expand to the fifth floor. In addition to a thriving practice in Great Falls, the practice supports strong regional ties through several cardiology specialty clinics. Model.The new hospital expansion will house the following services: 2nd floor: Invasive and non-invasive cardiology services will be housed on the second floor featuring two new cath labs with shelled space for a third lab, a nuclear medicine suite, two echo labs, two stress labs, a pacemaker clinic and an 11-bed recovery unit; 4th floor: The fourth floor will be the new home of the 33 bed (all private) Heart Care unit. This unit will be fully monitored and every room capable of converting between CICU and CCU levels of care. Facilities. Benefis Health System has 516-beds at two campuses and is a Level II Trauma Center one of only four in the state and 107 in the country. There are 210 members on the medical staff representing 40 specialties.
