Berkshire Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE cardiologist with a background or clinical interest in heart failure to join a collegial and busy group of cardiologists practicing in the picturesque Berkshires of western MA.
The hospital-based group includes 10 cardiologists, 4 physician assistants, and 2 nurse practitioners, all of whom are instrumental in operating a university-level practice that provides: state-of-the-art nuclear, echo, and CT angiography facilities; cardiac catheterization; heart failure management; and cardiac electrophysiology services. Berkshire Medical Center has been repeatedly recognized by the American Heart Association for exceptional cardiac care, and its health care professionals are driven by a sincere desire to improve the quality of care to the local community. BMC is also a major teaching affiliate of the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and there are numerous opportunities to participate in the education of medical students and internal medicine residents.The Berkshires present a unique combination of cultural and outdoor activities, excellent public and private schools, and an easy commute to both Boston and New York City. The spring and summer months provide fantastic hiking, water sports, and cultural events including the Tanglewood Music Festival.
