The Heart & Lung Center at PIH is on the cutting edge of cardiovascular and pulmonary care offering a complete scope of inpatient and outpatient cardiac and pulmonary services including diagnostic and interventional services, which includes cardiac catheterization, surgery and rehabilitation. Our multidisciplinary team affords our patients comprehensive heart and lung intervention. In conjunction with our outstanding physicians, our hospital is designated by Los Angeles County as a Stemi Receiving Center for heart attack patients who are brought into the hospital by paramedics.. This recognized multidisciplinary approach improves the speed and quality of life saving care for heart attack victims. The outpatient facilities of our Heart & Lung Center are housed in our state of the art medical arts building which opened this spring. Bright Health Physicians of PIH is a not for profit medical Foundation which provides complete business management services as well as clinical and business facilities, for our exclusively associated multi-specialty medical group, Intercommunity Health Associates (IHA). Bright Health Physicians of PIH & IHA provide personalized attention and specialized care with the most advanced medical technology and treatments for the members of the communities we serve, in collaboration with our partner Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital (PIH). PIHs Centers of Excellence have earned several honors in areas such as cancer, breast health, and heart care. In addition, extensive community services and resources are offered including community and mobile clinics, health education, and free mammograms. Additionally, our physicians enjoy state of the art facilities and we will soon finish the implementation of our clinical Electronic Health Record (EHR).
