He/she will be The first Chief of Pediatrics for a newly forming medical group. Spectrum Health Medical Group is an emerging multispecialty medical group. Clinical instrumentation includes 3 DEXA scanners, digital radiology suite, ambulatory BP monitors, cardiovascular assessment equipment and echocardiography. The analytical laboratory contains 2 GC/MS, 1 LC/MS, 3 stand-alone GC and 3 HPLC systems with a variety of detectors. A research kitchen facilitates dietary intervention trials as well as studies involving nutraceuticals. Depending on the individuals clinical research interests and expertise, subspecialty clinics can also be housed in this facility.
