Santa Rosa Medical Center is seeking a board certified/board eligible pulmonary medicine physician to join an existing practice in Milton, Florida, located just minutes from Pensacola and the Gulf Coast. You will join a well-established, highly respected pulmonologist in this rapidly expanding, combined inpatient and outpatient practice. Position offers an income guarantee, partnership after one year and excellent earning potential. Board certification or board eligibility in critical care and sleep medicine is preferred. The practice currently covers three hospitals and will expand to a fourth with the addition of a new partner. Each partner will maintain primary coverage responsibilities for two hospitals and will share weekend call. The practice covers a six-bed sleep lab, operates the only pulmonary hypertension clinic between Jacksonville and Mobile and is part of the Pulmonary Hypertension Network. Santa Rosa Medical Center is located in Milton, the county seat of Santa Rosa County in the Florida Panhandle. This 129-bed facility offers a comprehensive medical support system with more than 100 physicians on medical staff. Recently, the hospital earned Quality Respiratory Care Recognition (QRCR) under a national program aimed at helping patients and families make informed decisions about the quality of respiratory care services available in hospitals; another example of how quality and patient satisfaction are the hallmark of this great hospital.Situated in the central section of Santa Rosa County lies the cities of Pace and Milton. Statcare is comprised of a mix of Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians and Hospitalists. It was established in 1999 and the current membership is 50+. There are 20+ Pulmonary/Critical Care members in the group and it is growing! One of the largest Pulm/CC groups in the United States.When you join Summit Medical Group/Statcare you can become a partner in 16-24 months, your potential salary can be in the 90th percentile for the MGMA. You will maintain autonomy and have control over decision-making. You will be provided the best reimbursement in the state/region. All business related functions will be taken care of for you. The average employed Pulmonary/Critical Care physician is earning approximately $225,000 annually based on an 18 shift per month schedule. You are eligible for partnership in 16 to 24 months. Partner salaries are based upon a combination of productivity (RVU based) and shift differentials, along with additional forms of revenue from the Statcare business model.. Enjoy 300+ days of sunshine in this high desert/arid climate in Grand Junction, Colorado. This six person pulmonary/critical care practice provides inpatient and outpatient services for pulmonary, critical care, and sleep patients. One physician provides exclusively sleep services, and five physicians provide general pulmonary services and contract with St. Marys Hospital to provide critical care coverage seven days a week. We also provide services to Community Hospital on a consultative basis which is only 5 minutes away. We have call every fifth night and fifth weekend. We function as a limited liability partnership and a separate partnership of the doctors owns the building. The buy-in for the practice is $10,000.We practice in a new 10,000 square foot building with our own pulmonary function, X-ray equipment and CT scanner. St. Marys Hospital is a 250 bed tertiary care facility which has 22 critical care beds and is building a new ten story facility with 32 critical care beds, due to open in January, 2010.The hospital has a referral area of Western Colorado and Eastern Utah utilizing its own helicopter service. All subspecialty services are provided except transplant. It is a level two trauma center. There are opportunities for teaching with the family medicine residency program based in Grand Junction, affiliated the University of Colorado and in the near future, we will have a branch of the medical school here. There is a four bed sleep lab for which we provide oversight services. We also serve many other hospitals around the western slope for sleep study interpretation and other outreach services. The case load per doctor consists of 8-14 hospital patients and 30-40 outpatients per week in the office, with 3 days spent in the office weekly.Excellent base salary with outstanding bonus.Why practice in Grand Junction?
