We are seeking an emergency medicine residency trained physician to join our busy Level II trauma center in Lynchburg, Virginia. Centra’s Emergency Department has an annual patient volume of 90,000 and excellent specialty and subspecialty backup readily available. Approximately 20% of the patients we see are admitted. Our emergency physicians work 10 hour shifts with the same distribution of nights, weekends and holidays for everyone. The compensation and benefits package includes:- competitive salary (50/50 fixed/productivity ratio); - subsidized health, disability and life insurances;- pension plan and 403(b) and 457(b) tax deferred savings plans;- six-weeks vacation (one week designated for CME); and- $5,000 per year for CME and professional expenses.Part-time and full-time opportunities are available!
