Opening in a Group Surgical Practice for a General Surgeon with interest in Breast Surgery
An outstanding opportunity to join a busy, multispecialty group surgical practice located just north of Boston exists at Commonwealth Surgical Associates. A busy case load will be immediately available, and the new surgeon will work closely with the senior surgeon and hospitals to meet the referring physicians and orient to the hospitals.Call is one-in-four nights and every fourth weekend. We are associated with the Hallmark Health System, Winchester Hospital and New England Medical Center Hospital in Boston. Our 7500 square foot office suite is central to the Hallmark and Winchesters Hospitals and includes an ICAVL accredited Vascular Laboratory. We are staffed and equip to perform minor surgical procedures, extensive wound care, ultrasound guided breast biopsies and varicose vein treatments. Our staff consists of long-term, experienced professionals, and a Nurse Practitioner who is certified in wound care and performs rounding, nursing home visits, surgical assisting and has a full clinical schedule.Our local hospitals are welcoming and participate actively within civic and community service organizations to encourage use of those facilities. The hospitals support our physicians and work cooperatively with our Practice in the interest of excellence in patient care.We perform General, Vascular, Endovascular, Breast, Endocrine, Colon and Rectal, Advanced Laparoscopic, Laparoscopic Bariatric Surgery and colonoscopy in the community hospital settings.The area, rich in summer recreation, boating and winter sports, is noted for its world-famous educational institutions, fine arts offerings and medical facilities.
