We are looking for a part time or full time board certified or board eligible Child Psychiatrist for the Mansfield, Ct area. Community Health Resources (CHR) is a non-profit, comprehensive, community-based system of behavioral health care dedicated to helping people of all ages lead happier and healthier lives.*Clinical Management and Services - Provide direct clinical services to clients, including psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, ongoing treatment and medication reviews. - Maintain positive working relationships with community health organizations and outside medical and psych services to ensure coordination of client care. - Participates in case conferences/consultations, as required.-Works with program supervisors to oversee client treatment plans.-Demonstrates competency in age-related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.*Additional Duties and Responsibilities - May perform other assignments and duties, as area needs require.Requirements:-M.D. or D.O., Board certified in child psychiatry.-5 years of experience in child psychiatry preferred-Psychopharmacology for children, adolescents and young adults.-Consultation to staff and community providers.-Demonstration of competency in age- related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
