An innovative organization that provides the American workforce with the benefits of improved wellness and preventive care is seeking a Full-time Medical Lead for their Health & Wellness Center located in Pittsburgh , PA! They operate on-site employee health centers, pharmacies and fitness centers for many of the country�s largest corporations and federal agencies. This position will serve as a primary medical manager for this site and will collaborate with Leadership to ensure delivery of services and optimal patient care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include: Manages the overall clinical practice of the site and assumes overall responsibility for the care of patients seen in the health care center Supervises the work of all staff physicians and mid levels Hands on clinical care to patients Full primary care, wellness and prevention, acute care and occupational healthServices will be provided to employees and dependents Conducts histories and physical examinations and prescribes medical treatment based on current and best practice Develops treatment plans in collaboration with patients and provides patient education Acts as liaison between client, the clinic staff, and Chief Medical Officer and Support Center Collaborates with Regional Medical Director, Lead Clinician and clinic staff to develop annual regional and clinic goals and objectives Participates in peer review, policy development and quality improvement activities Serves as role model for clinic staff participates in training and staff development Supervises performance management and conducts performance appraisals While working at this large employer site, the Physician will have the ability to get to know their patients while helping to improve their health status and taking care of their immediate health needs.
