The Dayton VAMC is recruiting for a physician to do Independent Medical Evaluations for the Compensation and Pension Department of the Dayton VAMC.This position is best suited for Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Occupational Medicine, and/or Orthopedic Physician with an interest in doing challenging medical evaluations without continuity of care. Experience as an IME is desirable but not necessary. This is a position with no on-call duties. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Provide compensation and pension examinations for Veterans filing with Veterans Benefits Administration for disability compensation; ensure timeliness and accuracy of examinations.Applications will be accepted from US Citizens and as allowed by appropriations and statute. Permanent Various shifts with availability for evening and weekend hours.
