Northern Californian ´University-town´ GI Position
Enloe Medical Center is a 391-bed, level II trauma center located in the vibrant Northern Californian city of Chico. It offers the North Valley a full continuum of health services ranging from preventative education and outpatient services to acute care, behavioral health, inpatient rehabilitation and home health and hospice services. Serving more than 400,000 residents in a six-county region in Northern California, we provide quality, compassionate, cost-effective care to our patients. Enloe Medical Center encompasses seven separate facilities, and is the only hospital in Chico. It is currently undergoing a $158 million expansion. www.enloe.org We’re very flexible in terms of the practice scenario you¡¯d prefer, i.e. solo, hospital-based, or private group practice. Our priority is finding good, long-term fits between our community and its physicians. The retirement of one practitioner and the departure of another for family reasons has left area Gastroenterologists over-burdened. A new physician is about to begin practice at the turn of the year; which will bring our number of GI physicians to 3. Past experience, and current volumes strongly suggest the ideal number of practitioners is 5. Your practice would ramp up and become profitable in very short order. You¡¯d enjoy the full support from area physicians and the medical center. In addition to covering the costs of your relocation, we are providing an Income Guarantee as you build your practice. North Valley Endoscopy Center is a joint venture between the medical center and area GI physicians...and offers an excellent opportunity for ancillary income. The buy-in is very modest, and is purely a function of assets. Distributions are made to shareholders quarterly. Annual income expectations of beyond $400,000 are entirely appropriate.
