A busy general surgery practice located in Reno, NV, is looking to add one or two General Surgeons to its already existing Practice of 6 surgeons. The Practice covers three area hospitals, but has elected to have no trauma responsibility.The Reno/Lake Tahoe area is superb for outdoor activities year round, from hiking and hunting to skiing and snowboarding. Major ski resorts and the Lake Tahoe area are less than a one hour drive from Reno, and we enjoy over 300 sunny days a year. Reno also hosts many special events throughout the year, including the Reno River Festival - featuring our popular whitewater kayak park, Hot August Nights - a classic car event, the Reno National Air Races, and the Best in the West Rib Cook Off. Napa Valley and the Bay Area are within an easy driving distance and Reno is home to the University of Nevada and the Nevada Wolf Pack. The Practice is interested in Surgeons who are fellowship trained in either Breast, Pediatrics, Endocrine, Colo-Rectal, and Oncological Surgery. The ideal candidate for this position needs to be personable, motivated and very capable as we practice in a highly competitive market.
