Orthopaedic Associates of Zanesville, a 22,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility located in Zanesville, Ohio, is seeking motivated candidates devoted to the highest quality of patient care. This private practice has been in existence for 39 years and consists of six Board Certified surgeons and one PA-C who focus mainly on general orthopaedic surgery with added strengths in total joint replacement, sports medicine, foot & ankle and hand. The group performed approximately 2055 surgeries at the hospital and over 1400 at the Zanesville Surgery Center in 2007. The Zanesville Surgery Center is a joint venture between the physicians and Genesis HealthCare System. The practice offers a very competitive first year guaranteed salary and a benefit package, which includes $1000/mo car allowance, relocation expenses, malpractice and health insurance, a 401(k), paid vacation, continuing medical education allowance, residency training stipend, and loan forgiveness of up to $60,000. Partnership opportunity exists after year one. The call average is every sixth to seventh night/weekend. The practice has recently expanded the building, now with more than 22,000 square feet, that includes x-ray, MRI and physical therapy department. With 30 support staff, all billing and transcription is done on-site.
