Independent contractor Emergency Medicine group is seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine or Family Practice Physician with ED experience to expand current practice. Group is located in Hendersonville, TN, a suburb of Nashville, TN. Annual ER visits in 2008 were approximately 30,000. The 15-bed ER is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Priority candidates will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience and Boarded in Emergency Medicine by ABEM, ABOEM is preferred. ABFP Board Certification in Family Practice will also be given consideration based on Emergency background and experience.Physicians are paid per hour and typically work 8-10 hours per day. Shifts are rotated among all members of the group of 6 physicians and goal is to achieve a schedule of 12 13 shifts per month for full-timers. Weekends and holidays are swapped among all members.
