The practice sees on average approximately 700 deliveries between 3 hospitals. Practice offers flexible hours as well as moonlighting opportunities for additional earnings. Arapahoe Park Pediatrics is launching an new after-hours pediatric service called Pediatric Care Now to meet the needs of working parents and families needing to see a pediatrician after usual practice hours. Unlike urgent care, this service sees the usual acuity level for a pediatric office. The after hours service will be available Mon-Fri 6-10 pm, Sat 2-10 pm, Sun 2-8 pm. They are looking for 2 or 3 pediatricians to cover this schedule at an hourly rate of $80 per hour. Shift rate does not include benefits or malpractice coverage.

We are looking for 3 pediatric hospitalists with experience in inpatient pediatrics, newborn care, level II care and comfort(or will to train) doing moderate sedation. ED experience is a plus. Schedules would include 10 days per month, 24 hours, with responsibility for daily rounds on the floor, newborn nursery and level II nursery; availability daily for admissions to those areas and then be on call from home. The schedule is flexible - physicians would work not more than 4-5 days in a row and have one (occasionally two) weekends per month. The peds unit is 13 beds and the level II and nursery average a volume of 6-12 patients. Salary is dependent upon experience; a full employment benefits package including 401K and profit sharing is included.
