Humana Military Healthcare Services is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians who are BC or BE in EM, IM, FP or PD to work at Weed Army Community Hospital at Ft Irwin, CA. Must have extensive current emergency medicine experience (working more than 20 hours per week for the past 12 months) in similar or higher level emergency care institutions. Contract physicians shall have and maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Have and maintain a valid, unrestricted state license to practice medicine in one of the 50 states in the United States, or the District of Columbia, or its territories. There are 12 hour shifts per month with an annual patient volume of 16,000, Level III (avg. 40 patients per day). Attractive hourly rate, malpractice insurance provided.
