Intermountain Healthcare is seeking two BC/BE general surgeons to begin in the fall of 2009. Work at the Southridge Clinic, located in the Physician Office Building on the site of Intermountain Healthcare’s new Riverton Hospital in Riverton, a southern suburb of Salt Lake City. Employment position with the Intermountain Medical Group. Guaranteed first year salary with transition to compensation based on productivity. Full Intermountain benefits. Relocation provided. Intermountain’s new Riverton Hospital is scheduled to open in September 2009 and will house 46 beds, 6 labor & delivery rooms, 5 operating suites, 2 endoscopy suites, 15 emergency treatment rooms, 4 observation rooms, imaging services including MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and general radiology, with space available for further expansion. It will serve the medical needs of the rapidly growing population in Southwest Salt Lake County and Northwest Utah County. A four floor Medical Office Building housing physician offices and a Primary Children’s Medical Center outpatient pediatric clinic will also be located on the Riverton Hospital campus.Riverton is located in the southwest end of the Salt Lake Valley with outstanding views of the Wasatch and Oquirrh Mountains. It is a rapidly growing community of 32,000 residents and a projected population total of 65,000 by 2025. Riverton is a beautiful city with a small town feel and a strong sense of community.
