Guyan Valley Hospital is a licensed 19-bed critical access facility. Together, the two hospitals offer a full range of services. Logan Regional has opened a $1.1 million Acute Physical Rehabilitation Unit, with recent $17 million Emergency Department/Womens Center that added 42,000 square feet to the facility. The new Emergency Department includes 22 rooms, a portable X-ray unit, CAT scan, portable ultrasound, X-ray room and three trauma rooms. PACS Technology has also been installed. The second floor Womens Center will offer three labor and delivery suites, a staging area and a nine-bed nursery.
