BC/BE Urologist needed to join successful private practice affiliated with Main Line Health System in western Philadelphia suburbs
Private practice affiliated with our system is seeking to recruit a full time board certified/board eligible Urologist; advanced Endourology Fellowship training is a definite plus! The practice is affiliated with Main Line Health’s Paoli Hospital. We are recruiting a recently, well-trained Urologist for July 2009 or July 2010!This successful, well run practice enjoys an excellent reputation with patients and hospital staff alike. The practice patient volume includes significant prostate and bladder cancer cases; as well as significant kidney stone work. As such, experience with laparoscopic and robotic procedures (DaVinci robot) is a plus. A two year partnership track will be offered. Call coverage is every 5th night. Paoli Hospital has been ranked nationally as a 100 Top Hospital for the past two years by Solucient. Paoli was the only hospital in Chester County and one of 20 in the nation, among 1,000 hospitals in the medium-size hospital category, to achieve the prestigious 100 Top Hospital designation. Also, due to its very positive financial position, the Paoli Hospital has continually invested in all of its surgical disciplines, especially Urology, with state of the art equipment. To meet the needs of a growing community, the hospital will be completing an expansion project that will include the construction of a new 4-story building that will house a new emergency department, a new surgical department including 14 new operating rooms, ambulatory surgery beds, a new critical care area and new private inpatient beds for adult acute care, among other improvements. A new parking garage for more than 700 cars opened last year. Paoli Pennsylvania has top ranked public and private schools and nearby major universities. The location provides quick access to historic Philadelphia with wonderful cultural opportunities, theater, orchestra, museums and restaurants and is a short driving distance to the beach, the mountains, New York City and Washington DC.
