South Jersey Healthcare (SJH) in Vineland, New Jersey has retained Quick Leonard Kieffer to recruit a new Chief Medical Officer.
Licensed for 421 beds, SJH is a charitable, nonprofit healthcare organization, which consists of the systems flagship hospital, SJH Regional Medical Center, as well as SJH Elmer Hospital, SJH Bridgeton Health Center (formerly Bridgeton Hospital) and various clinics and outpatient centers that serve a total population of about 250,000 in four counties. The Health System, headquartered in Vineland, employs approximately 3,000 people. By the numbers, in 2008, SJH performed 18,765 surgeries, 2,585 births, and had 97,433 emergency room visits. As a testament to the high level of quality and services provided, SJH has been awarded Magnet-designation by the ANCC.The Chief Medical Officer will report directly to the President & CEO of South Jersey Healthcare. He/she will work especially closely with the President of the Medical Staff and CNO to ensure that quality care is provided. The successful candidate for this position will possess an MD or DO degree, along with board certification in a specialty or primary care field. This individual should have ten years in practice and significant healthcare management experience in a hospital or health system setting, with a career that demonstrates progressive responsibility, authority, and accountability in compensated positions. A graduate management degree is highly desirable.
