St Christophers Hospital for Children, Department of Pediatric Emergency seeks applicants for the position of Director of Operations for our expanding network of community hospitals. Applicants should be board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and have leadership experience in a Pediatric Emergency Department. We have opportunities at our main campus as well as suburban locations.St Christophers Hospital for Children is a 189-bed quaternary care childrens hospital in Philadelphia with a full-time faculty representing the spectrum of pediatric subspecialists. The hospital houses a competitive Pediatric Residency Program and multiple subspecialty fellowship programs including Pediatric Emergency Medicine. The successful candidate will receive an academic appointment at Drexel University College of Medicine with a rank commensurate with experience and qualifications. Administrative responsibilities will include oversight of daily operations of the department and performance improvement. Additional responsibilities will include education of medical students, residents and, fellows in both the formal didactic and clinical settings. Successful candidates will possess three years or more experience in Pediatric Emergency Medicine with a proven track record of leadership.
