ThedaCare, Inc., an integrated health system in northeastern Wisconsin, seeks a BE/BC rheumatologist to join its state-of-the-art musculoskeletal center.ThedaCare has developed a three-tier system, ThedaCare Orthopedics Plus, that provides comprehensive, coordinated patient care. The first tier includes primary care providers, emergency room physicians, and athletic trainers. The next tier includes family practice/sports medicine physicians, physiatrists, rheumatologists, and rehabilitation therapists. The final tier incorporates orthopedic surgeons. ThedaCare Orthopedics Plus occupies a 22,000-sq-ft facility on the Appleton Medical Center campus. The unique building design provides an efficient, continuous flow of patients through the facility.The referral base is comprised of 150 primary care providers and several athletic trainers affiliated with 13 universities and high schools.
