* This highly respected Hospital System is one of the nation´s largest not-for-profit healthcare systems and is comprised of five facilities based in Birmingham.* This Hospital system has 24-hour emergency department, intensive care, surgical services, orthopedic services, advanced diagnostic services, physician therapy, and community wellness services.* Their healthcare network of skilled physician and associates include Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, ENT, Family Medicine, GI, General Surgery, GYN, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Nephrology, Pain Management, Pathology, Pediatrics, Pulmonology, Physical Therapy, Radiology, and Urology.* Their hospital in Blount County is forty minutes north of Birmingham and has 40 beds.* This hospital just celebrated its 10th anniversary and has earned The Joint Commission´s Gold Seal of Approval in 2008.* New Physician would have an opportunity to practice the full scope of Non-Invasive Cardiology in a solo practice with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.* Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.* ER cases admitted by Hospitalist.* Hospital services include echo, doppler, nuclear medicine, stress testing, EKGs, Holter/Event Monitors.* Cardiac support services available in nearby Birmingham transferred by ambulance or airlift for interventional treatment.* New Physicians must be board certified &/or board eligible with the intention of attaining board certification in their specialty within a reasonable amount of time. * Competitive salary commensurate with training, experience, and board certification. * Full benefit package includes malpractice, health, dental, and disability insurances; vacation; CME and expense allowance; three tiered retirement plan; relocation expense; and profession licensure.* Employed position.* 10 days of call per month.Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Murphree Valley, this community is just 35 miles northeast of Birmingham in picturesque Blount County.
