The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas is pleased to invite applicants for a full time faculty position in the Department. The duties of the faculty member will include director of the oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, along with participation in patient care, teaching and research. Candidates with interest in pediatric surgery or cosmetic surgery are preferred. Applicants with scholarly and research interests are encouraged. Applicants for the position should have a Dental Degree recognized by the Commission on Dental Education of the American Dental Association or equivalent foreign BDS or DDS training and must have successfully completed advanced training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at an accredited institution. Applicants must be ABOMS Board Certified and should be eligible for dental licensing in the state of Texas. All faculty participate in and receive salary augmentation through the Dental Schools faculty practice plan.

The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Methodist Hospital (TMH) in Houston, Texas is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position. TMH, a 1000-bed tertiary care hospital located in the Texas Medical Center in Houston has affiliations with Weill Cornell Medical College and The University of Texas, Houston.The successful candidate will possess a board certification or be an active candidate for board certification. The applicant should have or be eligible for dental and medical licenses in the state of Texas. The applicant would be expected to apply for a faculty position at our affiliated medical school, Weill Medical College of Cornell University.This is a unique position with responsibilities including patient care, teaching and research. The candidate would have the opportunity to practice the full scope of the specialty. Additional fellowship training in head and neck surgery would be considered an asset. The candidate would be involved in resident training and would be expected to participate in scholarly work and research.
